A really busy weekend for LPS athletes competing in races across the North West.
1st up was Kirsty Longley, who became the 2nd fastest W45 of all time with an incredible 34:30 in the Trafford 10K.
Then we had Mark Hudson, who finished the 30k Rhayader around the lakes race in his personal best time of 2:27 making him the 2nd V60,
Also over the weekend we had the L&D league race at Clarke’s Gardens where Ross Harrison took an individual silver which was equalled by the team overall.
Special mentions to retiring club captain and the best role model a young athlete could look up to, Mark Wynne, who finished 1st in V45 category (33:07) and to Tony O’Brien, who continues his fabulous run of form in finishing 5th overall but 1st in the V50 age group in 32:30
