Lisa Gawthorne was flying the club flag at the Northern Master 10k road running championships at the Spen Greenway in Yorkshire on Sunday 15th September.
Running her first race back since picking up an injury at the European duathlon champs in Romania last month Lisa ran a very good 40.37 which is not that far off her pb of 38.53 and was enough to capture her the gold medal in her age category.
Hopefully given a few more weeks training she will be back to sub 40 minutes pace.
