Kirsty Longley made the trip along the M62 last Sunday for the Hull half marathon and picked up yet another first place having already won the Essar Chester Half Marathon in May, to add to growing list of victories on the road this season.
In warm and humid conditions Kirsty was always leading in the women’s race as the route took in many of the city’s cultural and historic landmarks, including The Deep, Humber Dock Marina, Hull City Hall and the University of Hull before heading back for the grand finish in the heart of the city centre. A clear winner Kirsty came home in 22 place overall in an impressive 1.19.30 for a comfortable victory in 1:19:30 to continue her impressive 2019 form.
