Three of our youngest athletes made their club track debuts at an open meeting at Sale Harriers on Sunday. Competing at U11 level, Ethan Tinsley was 4th in the 200m (31.5), sixth in 800m (2:53.5) and jumped 3.39m to finish fourth in the long jump. Teammate Evan Williams ran 3:03.4 (8th position) in the 800m, came 5th in the 100m (16.4) and was 8th in the 200m (33.9). Eve Hannaway ran 3:10.2 to finish 9th in the 800m and was 12th in the 100m with a time of 16.7. The group were joined on the day by Ethan’s younger brother Lewis who is hoping to become an LPS member very soon and competed as a guest in the Under 9’s
600m, 75m and the vortex.
