The annual Gingerbread 10K took place on Sunday around the streets of Ormskirk and attracted 240 entries
A well organised race started & finished at the cricket club and it was a double delight for LPS athletes. First home was 17 year old James Loftus (34.47)who is rapidly developing into an excellent middle distance athlete. He was closely followed by Warren Turner (34.53); Stuart Haw was 4th(38.01) and Jonathon Bride 6th(38.33)
It was first and second in the ladies race too, with Lisa Gawthorne (41.55) and 22nd overall taking the honours from Lauren Wilson (42.37)
