LPS had 10 competitors take part in the first ever British Masters Virtual Mile Race which was one of the few events to take place during the current lockdown. There were over 1500 participants and the race was a team event with the first three to count.
There were strong performances by all in the club, as well as some PBs, and the W35-44 team finished in a strong 2nd place, with Kirsty Longley 5.11 finishing 2nd Lady individually.
The Men’s M55-64 team finished in 9th place out of a very competitive field, with Kevin Usher 5.12 finishing 6th overall in his age group.

Well done to all who took part, and here’s hoping we will be racing back in the real world soon.
