Three LPS athletes headed to Mawdesley for the 3rd annual 10k trail race, in testing wet muddy conditions around the fields and farm tracks of the village of Mawdesley. Young Jake Dickinson finished in a magnificent 3rd place in a time of 38.53, he was followed by Greg Callaghan in 6th place 41.23 while last home was Andrew Conway 26th out of 126 runners in a time of 48.59.
This is an excellent local race well organised by the residents of the village and should be on everybody’s race to do list. It is great preparation for the Cross Country Season which starts in 2 weeks time.
