Helen Sahgal and Lisa Gawthorne flew the GB flag the world duathlon championships held at Odense in Denmark on 8th July. Both of them have previous international experience over this event and it paid dividends as Helen finished 5th and Lisa 12th in their age group.
The run was largely in the town centre across cobbled lovely old roads near Hans Christian Anderson’s original scenic home! The bike section was largely on the autobahn.
