Only the U17 men made the journey south to Birmingham for the prestigious national road relay championships at Sutton Park. Matty Richardson led the team off finishing 28th on leg 1 (12.51). However, a delay on the change-over, saw Jack Crook drop to 38th (14.02) before a determined run by Dan Jones pulled back 5 places (13.15) to finish 33rd, out of the 65 starters.
