Amelia and Michael sparkle indoors

Amelia McLoughlin travelled to Cardiff for the Welsh Indoor Championships. The Liverpool Pembroke Sefton star took the title with 1.71m. The good news is that she is consistently now over 1.70m and shaping up for a really big leap in the near future. Meanwhile Michael Rimmer was at the televised Birmingham Grand Prix meeting and although unplaced ran a fast 1500m in 3.42.41. On international tables this translates to 3.38.36 outdoors which would edge his personal best of 3.38.91 set three years ago. The question now on everybody`s lips is will Michael be switching to 1500m this coming season? At the Birmingham Games the day after the club`s 400m specialists Nathan Hilton and Adam Thomson ran 49.58 and 49.82 respectively which also translate into super-fast times outdoors.
