After a disappointing Olympics it would have been understandable if Michael Rimmer had called it a day for the season. However, he bounced back in the Samsung Diamond League Meeting in Zurich. In a swift 800m that saw Olympic Champion and World Record holder, David Rudisha (1.42.81) narrowly beaten by Mohammed Aman of Ethiopia (1.42.53) Michael ran a very strong 1.45.06 in sixth spot fractionally behind Andrew Osagie (1.44.94). This will be a huge boost to Michael`s morale.
