Athlete of the Match Award’

After breaking through the 11 metre barrier for the first time only 2 weeks ago, Ruth Doran improved her PB to 11.11m at Clayton-le Moors on Sunday. Competing in the Junior League, Ruth’s performance earned her the ‘Athlete of the Match Award’
and this was presented to her by the league chair person Margaret Grayston. Ruth is coming into form at the right time and can now look forward with confidence to the English schools Championships in Gateshead next week.
